Tractor driver killed in road mishap | KNO

Handwara, May 28 (KNO): A tractor driver was killed in an accident that took place in Sarmarg area of Rajwar in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district on Tuesday. Reports reaching to KNO said that he was on its way to Sagmara from Handwara, when the he lost control over his vehicle. The tractor turned turtle at check Sagmarg, resulting in injuries to the driver who was shifted to nearby hospital, however he lost his life on way to hospital. The deceased was identified as Tanveer Ahmed Mir son of Ghulam Hussain Mir of Sarmarg Rajwar. A police officer said that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and further investigations taken up. (KNO)
